Flash mob are Off Their Rockers

Off Their Rockers may be a choir for the over 60s but they definitely haven’t lost their groove.

A flash mob at Nelson’s Fresh Choice supermarket on Friday evening left smiles on every shopper’s face, and also gained the choir a much appreciated $500 from Fresh Choice.

The supermarket gives out the sum of money to the community on a monthly basis and after applying for it twice and not succeeding, Off Their Rockers finally got their big break when one of the members jested that their age might be the barrier.  They were quickly told that if they did a flash mob in the store, they would get the cash fund for August. The main reason they raise money is for their four piece rock band which normally accompanies them at performances, and their musical director, a position they happen to be looking to fill at the moment. Anyone with a love of classic rock and pop and teaching the over 60s should contact Robyn Beckingsale on 021 024 86194, so that the Off Their Rockers Choir can keep on entertaining.
