Dozens of people crowded into Richmond’s Sundial Square this afternoon in the hope of scoring some free cash.
The promotion by a national radio station, saw $800 in $5 notes stuffed into a leaf blower and fired into the crowd of people. ZM radio hosts Vaughn Smith and Carl Fletcher say the “Cash Mob” promotion has been held in other centres around the country and it was in aid of “buying people’s love, attention and people’s willingness to listen to our radio station”.
