Richmond Mall is cooking up a new idea to give every household a brand new cook book and they want your favourite family recipe to be one of the star attractions.
The mall celebrates its 40th birthday this October and its manager Belinda de Clercq says the cook book is just one of the ideas the mall has to help celebrate the milestone.
“This will be a great cook book and it’s great that it’s going to every home in the region and for free.”
The cook book will be a collection of the best recipes in the region with locals asked to submit their favourite family recipe and have the chance to have it printed in the book and win vouchers to Richmond Mall.
To submit a recipe, simply pick up an entry form from the customer service desk on your next visit to Richmond Mall. When completed drop it into one of the Richmond Mall entry boxes. The overall favourite recipe will win a $500 mall voucher with a $250 mall voucher for the favourite recipe in each category.
Belinda says she can’t wait to see what recipes come in.
“I’m really looking forward to see what people drop in. It’s exciting to start a project like this and I’m sure the people of Nelson and Tasman will get in behind it.”
