Check out this spectacular finish to the Under 19 Boys 1500m race at the 2015 South Island Secondary Schools Athletics Championships held in Nelson on March 28-29th.
The runner who lost his balance, fell five metres from the finish line and crawled across is a Nelson year 12 student Jared Lautenslager of Garin College.
The runner who won the race is Dunedin’s Oli Chignell of John McGlashon College.
