When Cathy Brown sent us this photo she thought “What were they thinking? kids loved playing soccer against this wall that is now in the middle of a raised bed.”
Fortunately the Council’s plan for the wall isn’t to beautify the wall with plantings but to turn it into a climbing wall as part of the Pioneer Park playground.
Nelmac will be installing the climbing grips in the coming days and money is being raised to paint a mural on it over the peeling paint.
