Police are seeking 28-year-old Jahdai Brice Kennard in relation to their investigations into the shooting incident in Motueka on Thursday 20 August 2015.

Jahdai is described as: Maori, 179cm tall of medium build. He often has a dark beard.
He is believed to be in possession of and driving a Green 1995 BMW 318i Saloon registered number HHY596.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Jahdai is requested to contact Police and not to approach him.
Jahdai has an extensive history with the law dating back to 2005 including pointing a gun at a group of people in Thorpe Bush last year, unlawful assembly relating to gang confrontation, assault, intentionally damaging vehicles, theft, burglary, careless driving, possession of cannabis and failing to answer bail.
Police would also like any people who witnessed the shooting in Wharepapa Grove last Thursday afternoon and who have not yet spoken to Police to contact them.
Police would also like to hear from anyone who took photographs or video recordings of the events surrounding the shooting.
