Young athletes have come from as far north as Cape Reinga and as far south as Invercargill to compete in the Colgate Games.
The national track and field competition is open to seven – 14-year-old athletes and this year’s games is being held at the Saxton Sports Field.
Events will run from Friday to Sunday with finals throughout the weekend.
