Nelson rower Brook Robertson is off to Rio after being named in the New Zealand Olympic rowing team yesterday following a week of trials.
Brook is set to represent his country with 30 other rowers including Blenheim’s Robbie Manson, Tom Murray and Marlborough’s Sophie MacKenzie.
Rio will be Brook’s first Olympic Games.
The team is Rowing New Zealand’s biggest Olympic Games team with 31 athletes set to row across nine boat classes in Rio later this year.
