Waimea Old Boys welcomed their junior players onto the field for their annual club day at Jubliee Park.
The club day marks the start of the season for the players that range from under six rippas to under elevens players.
Waimea Old Boys JAB captain Marc Hunter says the club have 21 junior teams and over 300 players.
The Waimea teams will face the rest of the region on May 7, and will battle it out until the season wraps with Mikes 7’s Tournament in August.
