A car went over the bank on the corner of Quebec Road and Abraham Heights last night.
The incident happened around midnight last night but the car remains abandoned on the grassy bank and Police have yet to confirm what happened.
Neighbouring resident Marten Botje says he saw the car from his house when he woke up this morning but couldn’t quite tell what it was.
“I looked out of my window at about 8 o’clock and it just didn’t look right so I went down and that’s when I saw that it was a car down the bank.”
“You can see where they’ve gone over the curb and they must’ve gotten airborne because there’s a bit of a drop there but it’s landed on it’s wheels and stopped in a flat dug-in spot,” says Marten.
“It’s still down the bank there, when they will take it away, I don’t know.”
