A teenager will appear in court today after being arrested for brandishing a machete on a cycleway in Nelson south.
The 17-year-old male was charged with possession of a knife following the incident on December 29 and is due to appear in the Nelson District Court today.
A police spokeswoman says “no one was threatened” during the incident.
