Richmond has maintained its unbeaten start to the Nelson Bays Football Division competition. by beating defending champions Suburbs 2-0 at Jubilee Park today.
Richmond won the midfield battle but didn’t make the most of their advantage until a second half penalty.
They made the game safe with a late goal.
Suburbs had their chances and hit the post and crossbar in the opening 10 minutes. However, they relied on the long ball a little too much in a game that had plenty of feeling in it.
