Prices Pharmacy has cruised the the Nelson premier netball title with a 65-53 win over Stoke this afternoon at Saxton Stadium.
Stoke had upset Richmond in a sudden death semi-final on Thursday night to earn the right to face the competition front runners but that was where the fairytale ended.
Prices were too slick early and raced out to a five goal lead in as many minutes after the opening whistle.
Prices advantage grew throughout the first half and while Stoke never waved the white flag, they never threatened to pull off the upset.
Prices led 18-10 after the first quarter, a margin which extended to 15 goals by half time.
Prices were too slick at both ends of the court early even though Stoke did well to keep the margin where it was for much of the second half.
